Riboflavin, also known as E101, is a heat-stable yellow food colouring used in a wide range of applications. It is a water-soluble vitamin naturally found in many foods such as milk, eggs, and green vegetables. Our source of riboflavin is plant-based and remains stable under low or high temperatures and at different pH levels. These properties make it ideal for use in both cold and hot dishes. It is commonly added to cereals, bread, dairy products, baked goods, and desserts to provide a bright yellow colour. In addition, riboflavin is an essential nutrient, contributing to the overall nutritional value of the products it is added to.

The recommended daily intake of riboflavin for adults is 1.2mg per day. Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects and an orange discolouration of the urine. To fully enjoy its strong colour, we recommend to use it within 2-3 months from opening. Store in a dark, dry place at room temperature. Make sure the lid is tightly sealed after every use.
